At the end of the day...

Not all learning comes from the outside. At some point Chris must of asked "why isn't life working out the way i want it to" - and we've seen what conclusions he reached.

There have been people that tried to help Chris develop self awarness and coping skills. He rejected their help.

Even his pastor, (who absolutely fucked chris up more ) tried to teach Chris some adult skill in the beginning.

And honestly - to a degree, I think people can develop skills by themselves, without being taught. People create coping mechanism and refine them as their live goes on.

I know I cant expect Chris to wake up and magickly make good decisions - but it's just as absurd to claim that chris has no control of his own actions.

I've had this same argument with people for more than a decade of Chris - and as time has gone by - I feel like the "Chris is a product of circumstance" wears thinner and thinner.

Sure - someone who doesn't understand morality and reality might retreat into escapist fantasy in video games. But Chris insists his fantasy world is REAL going further than even a non-nerotpyical person would. Someone who doesn't understand society and gender might act the way chris does to women. - but Chris raped his elderly mother. That's so outside of the normal path of causality. That's something he chose for himself.

He's not a product of fate and nature. He has agency.
