Heh seems like i am the exact opposite. My friend is a physicist that actually worked on a project concerning climate change, and he did fiend its indeed well and kicking, of course i am biased to belief him, aside from knowing he himself, at least has no agenda in this thing.

however i also cant say how bad it is i think the lower boarder of how much it will go up is 2 kelvin the higher is 8 kelvin (i think this data is from 2007 so a bit older)

at this point i should prob. state that even 2 kelvin would be a catastroph.

however as an egotist i actually think the world only needs to last until i die. given that my birthday is next week and i will be 32 or 33 we can assume (given my rather unhealty lifestyle) i will live another 50years at best. with that said 40 to 50 years is when the climate change will be starting to show its really really bad side. (although before it will gradually get worse)

so contrary to my younger self, i am confident that in my opinion they dont need to do anythng. of course in real life i would never admit to it
