Black people only make up 3% of the UK population but are vastly over-represented in television and movies. Indians, who make up 6%, are much less common. Furthermore, a lot of the woke-casting that people complain about is done through British recruitment agencies that use British actors.

All of the recent fantasy shows that underwent wokewashing featured mostly British actors - so there's not a clear separation between our countries on this stuff. Indeed, because of the lack of language barrier we're probably the worst for this stuff outside the USA.
