Little late to the party but a good friend of mine has. Lets call him mx894. He rides the exact same bike as I do who woulda thunk. I (ehem) i mean he, has ran 3 times confirmed and maybe 3 more times unconfirmed. The key to running is to be gone before you know if the cop was even gunna chase you hence the 3 unconfirmed. So ill just stick with the 3 I know for sure my friend got away with.
First was because of lane splitting (florida) at night being it was dark he couldnt see cops. Heavy traffic gave him the confidence he would be hard to see. Although he was still checking for cops like a crack head on a bad trip. Sure enough he was at the front of the queue for a red light and looked bad about 100+ meters was some red an blues making their way through traffic. He put her in gear blew through the red light and turned off the highway. Chase never happend cause the cop was stuck in traffic by the time he was gone.
2nd time was also lane splitting to the front of a red light. Came up to a cop about 5 cars back in the queue. Instead of passing the cop in the middle where his dash cam could have seen my friends plate he went to the shoulder up to the front of the light and ran the red and got up to 120mph and cruised away like the cop wasnt even coming. I know my friend was being chased because he passed another rider in our group while running who said he saw the red and blues coming a few miles behind him. Over before it started yet again.
last but not least was the best one yet. Goofin with a riding buddy doing 150+ and come to a hill crest. Its night so they cant see the median but at the valley of the hill we just crested is a cop running radar. They decelerate down the hill and pass the cop doing about 80mph. As soon as they pass the cop flips his headlights on and my friend instantly dips. The other dude waited to see if the cop pulled out and turned his lights on which he did. But my friend was already long gone. The other guy managed to make it home but my friend had to ditch the bike at a buddies house and get a ride home because the way home is through a town filled with cops.
