Won't work. Express Scripts will never accept coupons or discounts from manufacturers. You have to look at it from there perspective. They go to each of these companies and ask for the best price possible to theoretically pass along to the company hiring them to manage benefits. Those companies then give them a price and they pass that along. But the coupon or discounts circumvents there position on the negotiation. Why couldn't the manufacturer just pass that along to Express Scripts in the first place and to the client? That is why some pbm pharmacies won't accept coupons. It hurts there own negotiating position. They can't do anything about retail pharmacies but they can do something about there own mailorder clients.
