[Fan Charity(?)] Wow, the Oliciters actually did something.....positive. I'm genuinely shocked.

First of all, to reply to the comments in your other thread, I do give to charity, even though I'm not exactly a high income person. I supported a boy in a SOS village in Sierra Leone for fifteen years, and when he left left the village, I committed to support another child. I support "Doctors without borders" and the Red Cross with monthly installments. I guess I just prefer to give my money to such organizations, which have long-time goals and use their money where they’re best needed, rather than to isolated fandom charities. I'm not saying this to get kudos, just clarifying.

As for you other comments, you're free pity me, or even regard me as a royal a**hole. However, do you know who I find even more pitiful than you find me? Some of your shipper buddies who played the “good oliciter” in their exchanges with Carina, mainly because they don’t seem to recognize their own hypocrisy. Let me explain:

This fandom is not that big, and those who’ve been around for a while have a pretty good idea concerning the conduct of some of its most active members, regardless if which faction they belong too. This goes for the redditors who keep tabs on the more outrageous oliciters, but ALSO for the notable members of the Olicity twitter fandom who keep equally close tabs on the reddit F-boys and often screen shot and “shade” the (according to them) bitter LL/KC stans and comic book neckbeards who spend their days writing essays on the subreddit.

I presume that this might be one reason why you could identify this poster as someone who bumped into Stephen Amell in London, especially since she is a new and lowkey poster who furthermore uses another alias here than on other social media:

Huh. I must have mixed you up with that other poster that ran into Stephen at a bar and had a long coversation with him. My bad.

I was kind of surprised, but then I realized who the person behind the alias is….namely a fan who gets dragged quite frequently by various pretty prominent oliciters (not saying that you do, though). Since she joined they even screen shot her reddit posts and indulge in their usual mocking and shading.

I find it hard to understand their rancor, though, because this particular poster is a very positive person, who actually displays the kindness that your oliciter friends want to celebrate with their charity for Mexico. Although she is quite active on FB and other places, I have never heard her say a bad word about Stephen Amell, his wife or any other “Arrow” actor….in fact, she often defends them, especially when the Stemily crowd descends on SA’s/CH’s FB or Instagram. I’d say that she is a LOT less contentious, partisan and whiny than yours truly. That doesn’t seem to help, though, since even some of the “good oliciters” on Carina McKenzie’s twitter don’t take kindly to her particular poster’s brand of kindness/niceness….

….which brings me to the Cadlymack debacle. You claim that the “organizers and the entirety of fandom participating in the fundraiser were extremely upset by the handful of assholes who were being jerks to Carina”. What were they upset about though?

You see, some of the “good oliciters” who apologized to Carina for their co-shippers’ bad behavior on her twitter timeline today don’t have any problems mocking her on the sly. In fact, one of them called her “Thirstina” just FIVE days ago, and she hasn’t been any nicer to EBR’s other friends and colleagues (and colleagues wife’s) lately, rehashing the old “KC leaked the vids to blackmail the TPTB” trope and joining the rest of her trash shipper friends’ bashing of Cassandra Jean because she committed the crime of letting her daughter share a birthday with her bestie.

And I can’t say that many of the others are always that nice when talking about “Arrow” actors or spouses/friends either. Of course, nothing of all this was tagged, but as you know yourself, word gets around, right? And if you are totally unaware of these comments and convos I just have to presume that you're not at all involved with this part of the twitter/tumblr fandom.

Anyway, pity me if you want, but I actually feel even more sorry for the peeps who more or less constantly drag EBR’s friends and co-stars in their private “mean girl” convos, and then kiss their asses in public in order to promote their #OTA charity and look like the “good fans”.

If the moderators want to ban me for this post, please go ahead.
