Feeding children won't solve child hunger.

As I understand it, we already do through a variety of programs from schools through SNAP. In 2021 the USDA budget for food aid was $182.5 billion dollars, not a small sum. https://www.ers.usda.gov/webdocs/charts/58387/40105_food-security_fig06_768px.png

I'm not against it either, I just think people here have a somewhat ideological and warped view of what's already done. The US spends more on feeding our hungry people than many countries have GDP, and this goes to 12.5% of our residents.

So lets keep it up, and lets also drop the idea that somehow we're not already doing it, breakfast, lunch and dinner. If that money isn't getting into hungry kid's bellies, it isn't because the money wasn't doled out.
