I feel like being gay isn’t a personality.

I will never understand the “OH.MY.GODisms, or the “YES BITCH”. I feel like when gay guys do these things they alienate themselves from men.

I HAAAAAAAATE THIS SO FUCKING MUCH. “Queen” is the worst of these teenage-girlisms IMO.

(disclaimer: when done well, teenage-girl talk can be hilarious and charming in its own right. But most of the time gay guys butcher it and come across as obnoxious as fuck)

I think it’s a generational thing to be honest with you. I’m 20, so in the same boat as you. I didn’t even have a particularly easy time coming out, but I feel more or less 100% accepted amongst my peers and don’t feel the same need to “stick together” within the gay community as older people might have.

I don’t mean to knock this sort of personality too much, but I just have a really hard time understanding or relating to it at all.
