Honestly while it was foolish for anyone to expect the Kraken to replicate in any way Vegas on-ice success in their first season (screw the organization though for pricing face value tickets and concessions as if they were Vegas 2.0), they still do look pretty disappointing since they've gotten poor goaltending for most of the season (Grubauer was a big free agent signing and a top-3 goalie last year but hasn't been good so far this season), inconsistent offense with their by-committee scoring approach not working for most of the season, a lot of turnovers from their forwards and defenders leading to odd man rushes, a god-awful and piss poor power play and a defense that while looks solid for most of the game gives up bad goals that leaves Grubauer out to dry.

I think fair expectations was a fringe playoff team especially given many saw the Pacific was weak (though LA, ANA and even SJ look better than expected), but at this point only the Coyotes are worse than us in the West which is bad lol.

Still having fun watching hockey though and the Kraken even with the losses, though via online and not via ROOT because fuck ROOT Sports.
