Imagine having a father and friends who penalize you for crying, even when it's physically or emotionally appropriate. Imagine having a natural impulse to resist crying. Imagine having friends who are never emotionally available to really dive into the deep problems of your day to day.

Imagine every time you share something too deep and express that you're hurt you're met with a "dont be a bitch" or a "man up". Imagine getting out your agression in combat sports like boxing, football, wrestling.

Now imagine you're confronted with the worst rage of your life and having no valid emotional tools to deal with it in a healthy way.
