Mines a bit of a funny story. And it was technically retconned. Also I should mention this was the first campaign I had played ever. We were ramping up towards the end of our campaign as it was near the end of the school year and we ran it as part of a club. Anyways our dm was getting frisky and decided that throw the deck of many things at us. I had taken a few lucky draws so far. Scoring myself 2 castles and a couple of knights. And then I had drawn 1 too many. My soul was sucked from my body and thrown into another r plane of existence. Luckily our Druid has drawn the wish card and I had previously bribed him with one of said castles to save my life in case of death. And so he did. And then literally 5 minutes later the same thing happened to someone else in our party and I had also drawn a wish card and so history (however recent) repeated itself. And then we came to our senses and stopped drawing. And we’re then thrusted 5 years into the future. And that’s basically how it happened.
