Follow-Up to my last Rent Post

Soo that's the other pain point here. I tried, but my org is being a PITA about it. They only have one location in my current city and are a non profit meh and very behind on the times in my field and they guilt trip me saying that the non-tech workers don't get to have that chance.

I also notice when I bring it up, I tend to feel like I have a target on my back as she seems randomly keener to bring up random mistakes I do. She never did that before. So I just told her I am staying put and now she stopped and is nice again.

When I bring up the state I want to move to, my manager fusses and says it will be a long drawn out process with HR even though we talked about it in department meetings.

Meanwhile, my friends work at places that say they can be anywhere as long as it's the US.
