For those who have both, why do you prefer xbox one over ps4?

  • GamePass. I prefer it over PSNow.
  • The controller. The DS4 is uncomfortable and has poor battery life.
  • The UI. I strongly dislike the XMB on the PS4. The more items you have, the more cluttered it feels. There's also how slow the PS4 store is. It's frustrating to buy things.
  • I prefer the way games play on the Xbox. They feel like they run better.
  • Customer communication. I like how Xbox how personalities that are involved in the gaming community, like Major Nelson.
  • Mixer Integration. This goes back to the UI. I like how the XBox's UI lets me hit the bumper and be in a different section that gives me things I want, such as Mixer.

I chose the PS4 at the beginning of this gen, but kept getting more and more frustrated with the PS4 and Sony. They won the gen and started coasting, taking advantage of their user base, while MS had to keep fighting to keep up. Once I bought an Xbox, I felt unleashed. I started gaming more again and my enjoyment has certainly increased. I don't like turning on my PS4. I hate having to download and install an update at 1/20th of the speed the Xbox is able to. I can download a game in 20 minutes or less, instead of waiting hours and hours. There are positives to the PS4, but I definitely prefer my Xbox.
