I install phone and internet for a large telecom... I went to a phone and internet install at a new house today which usually are great and quick because the jacks and wiring are new, and run to a central spot, the wire outside it already laid to the outside. No drilling, no nothing, just show up and hook everything up... Badda bing badda boom, done.

Well, the place today had no inside wiring, or jacks, or anything. The couple were talking to a friend and heard them say their internet with us was wireless... Which it is... Wifi. This couple thought it meant they could just plug in the modem and have their phone, tv, and internet just appear with nothing else. So upon building their new house they had the inside wiring and jacks all omitted from the building plans.

I had to hang new drop wire, drill a new entrance wire, hook up 2 new jacks and run inside wire... And drill through this lovely couples brand new trim/floor to do it. I'm glad they were nice people. My easy install turned in to a few hours and it sucked lol
