For a wilderness survival game, would you rather build your shelter log by log, brick by brick, etc., or gather materials to have a pre-built shelter pop up?

Alright I understand that too, here's what I would do if I were to build a game. First I'd have the ability to make a multitude of shelters such as debris huts, A-frames, Teepees, wikiups, spider shelters, and a lot of the semi-permanent type shelters you would see in a primitive bushcraft type scenario. That makes building shelters piece by piece a little easier. Here's why I still stay with the brick by brick idea. I don't think it should be so easy to build a cabin or a stone house, because it's not that easy in real life. Sure you start the game off living in a hobo hut or what have you, but when you get further along in the game to where you are able to establish some type of tribal community or indian village etc., then you should be able to build houses and multiple people can help out. That way 2 people can carry big logs, and you can also have some type of masonry workbench to make bricks and carry multiple bricks to the building location it wouldn't be too bad. The bricks I'm thinking of are more like adobe brick so they wouldn't be too hard to make at all, and they are 5x bigger than regular bricks. So you could build adobe shelters and such. But if you are trying to build a brick castle well good luck you'll have a hard time. I just think it should be possible to build whatever you want without limiting options like how high your walls can be if premade, or what you decide you want to build. Adobe is made using straw, dirt, sand and water so something like this to build brick by brick is very feasible I don't think it would be boring at all tbh. You would also have a deep appreciation and satisfaction that you created your own house using your own creativity without the help of restrictions and pre-build floors and walls and roofing.
