Also Try: * Resetting modem and router. * make sure your modem isn't on badmodems.com list * if you have a modem from the list you may have packet loss/lag * use ddu to remove gpu drivers in safe mode * Use graphic driver before prior the newest release * turn off overclock see if it helps (did for me ) * turn on high performance power mode * download Windows to usb without packet loss * turn off nvidia highlights * turn off win 10 gamer mode * new monitor cable * change hertz refresh rate on monitor * try different network cable * don't use with if possible * port forward for fortnite * turn on upnp I side router settings * reinstall Windows if you don't have packet loss * try different ssd or hdd * make sure you ssd or hdd isn't full * update computer drivers * update bios if you haven't * test game loading with different mouse and keyboard * test onboard graphics vs graphic card * change network adapter settings for gaming there is a steam guide out there to follow * change dns server to Google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I've done all these to get my computer to play fortnite smooth. My other games played fine by old settings but fortnite wasn't playing smooth and was kicking me.

modem/router reset: unplug for 1 minute, plug back in let it fully start up and then plug in router.

badmodems.com shows you modems that cause issues with your internet. make sure you don't have any on list if you do save up for a new one or rent from isp.

look into ddwrt and flashing router to give you more control of your internet. go to dsl reports and check your internet for bufferbloat by doing speed check. bufferbloat and using ddwrt can help with that.

drivers: make sure all drivers are up-to-date exception to graphic driver make sure it's 1 prior to latest

make sure all hardware is working by testing each part if you can.

Google dns was mentioned on epic tech page by fortnite dev.

This is a lot of tech trouble shooting to play fortnite.

Hope something helps for you guys.
