FUCK THE GROWN ASS "MEN" WHO TROLL LITTLE KIDS IN MINECRAFT/COD/ANY GAME WITH VOICE CHAT!

If the last two decades of gaming has taught me anything, it's that the little boy was probably a walking talking shitstain pretending he's tough online and got his ass handed to him by a guy who had enough. I'm not saying this is what happened, I'm saying most parents don't really have a clue how little Timmy acts online and always presume his side of the story is the only one that matters.

Also stop with the hysterics. He is fine. Assuming this story is true he learned a valuable lesson on why you shouldn't be an ass online. Don't pretend he was walking home from school and got beat within an inch of his life. His virtual sandcastle got knocked down, it's not the end of the world and he'll go build another one. Maybe you shouldn't have your young child playing games online in the first place? Or were you completely unaware of online mentality? This kind of shit happens all the time and yet you still let him loose and then get angry when the almost inevitable happens.

Maybe parents should actually play with their kids instead of letting video games babysit for them. Don't blame the internet when you are the one who let him on it. I don't know a lot about minecraft but I'm willing to bet there are mechanisms in place already to help children avoid this type of occurrence. Private servers, playing with friends only, offline playing, there are options that could have prevented this entirely, and the reason they didn't work was because you didn't bother to research it. That's on you.

Before anyone jumps to wild conclusions I am in no way condoning people who do this type of shit. I'm only saying that unfortunately due to human nature and online anonymity this kind of thing is inevitable and it's on the parents to do what they can to prevent it.

If a child finds a lighter on the floor and burns down the house, it's not the lighters fault if you catch my drift.
