Fwiw, writer is a teammate (I helped him a little with this guide) and that part was written in response to so many people taking shortcuts with the build and then complaining about frequent deaths. The build is incredibly safe as far as assassins go, OP levelled to 100 doing T18 juiced Canyons with 8k eHP and even explains the methodology in the guide. But every second person sending in a PoB had like 3k eHP and just skipped life rolls on gear whilst also stacking crit multi jewels that have no life either whilst totally neglecting to use Corrupted Soul.

Then there are all the people (perhaps even yourself) who copied the budget PoB even though OP said not to copy it and it was just an example of his day 2 character.

It’s just better to tell people to use CoD Portal than “scrap all the expensive gear you just bought and buy a bunch of rare gear with T1 life” OP stressed out about this so much and even didn’t want to put the guide up at all because he was concerned this sort of thing would happen, but it’s not his fault or the guide’s fault that people choose to cut so many defensive corners and then complain that the build is squishy when in actual fact, it’s OP’s first level 100 which should be a testament to how sufficiently tanky it is. I can get OP to write a comment later if you’d like. But that’s the gist of it. Not attacking you or anything, just saying that it’s disheartening to see people complaining about this when there is an entire section in the guide dedicated to levelling to 100 safely and being tanky without having to resort to breachstones.
