This game needs a report button

So this was me, the afker. Though I expect nothing but downvotes, at least you have the other side of the story, if matters to you.

It was a pug (my team) versus a 3-man premade (plus 2 pugs) with an well balanced team (Alani, Miko, Isaac, El Dragon, and maybe Oscar Mike or similar).

Look at the score, 158 v 336. Up until that point I had given it a good try, was wave clearing with my Ambra and trying to get our minions to grinders.

At this point Isaac, Alani, and OM had been chilling in our backline for the better part of the game, picking us off and summoning the rest of their team even if we tried coordinated push back.

So it had become a shitty game, it was no longer fun. Most were just going out to die 30s later or being stuffed by their offensive.

I had voted a surrender, 2 for, 2 against before it failed. I was called a 'pussy' for surrendering and getting hate for 'giving up' when it was clear that we were clearly outmatched and clearly losing.

We were feeding them XP and ranks, we most 2 ranks above us, the power curve wrecking us even more.

The Surrender mechanic is part of the game

I sit in the same long matchup queues the game suffers from now, 10-20 minutes, so I don't want to leave a matchup...but do you think I want to be someone's punching bag for 20 minutes when the Surrender mechanic can allow me to gracefully concede defeat and try for a more balanced and fun matchup?

No. I paid for a game to have fun. I paid for balanced matchups and enjoyable games. I know I will lose from time to time, but I didn't pay to lose by a massive margin only for my team to stubbornly refuse to Surrender and then shit on me for even suggesting it.

/u/jythri or @ jythri - You say this is an issue, and I agree. But perhaps the Surrender mechanic is the broken aspect. There are many matchups where it's 100 v 15 or 85 v 5 when the team quits < 5 minutes in. I've sat through 15+ minutes of matchmaking, map selection, character selection, and pre-game cutscenes, only to play 5 minutes and go through the whole thing again. So forgive me for wanting to Surrender gracefully to try for a better game. I choose not to sit through a completely one-sided match-up with a primarily pre-made team that is organized and get shit on for 30 minutes.
