General Election - 8th June 2017

I think the Lib Dems will do much better than people expect. If you oppose Brexit, they are the only real option, due to the state of Labour. There is a group of Labour voters who oppose Brexit, they will flock straight to the Lib Dems. The same can be said for Tories who oppose Brexit but they are small in number.

The question is how many people oppose Brexit but accept it's going to happen so will vote Conservative to play it safe. All in all these are all small in number groups, the bulk of voters will back May. The bulk of Tories support Brexit.

Labour will face wipeout anyway you look at it. It will be a disaster for them, bigger than expected. Think about it, would you put Labour in charge of Brexit, not in a million years, regardless if you agree with it or not. In addition their policy is not clear to anyone, on anything, people will run a mile. The only option for them is to ditch Corbyn and get someone like Brown back, they would still lose but would do far better than under Corbyn.

No Farron will do well, but May will do far far better. And to think Corbyn might not even go after the election.
