I genuinely feel bad for Ryan Truex and Parker Kilgerman

Comparing Kyle Busch's KBM NXS entries to Kligerman's KBM NXS entries is pretty bullshit. Kyle Busch (& Kurt Busch) drove KBM in-house built chassis with Triad Racing Technologies engines with a KBM-coached pit crew while Kligerman's drove JGR-built chassis with JGR engines with a JGR-coached pit crew. Kligerman had far better equipment in 2013 than Kyle Busch did in 2012. And he was very under whelming.

This is generally the problem with posts about Kligerman or other young drivers that went no where. They get filled with false equivalencies and often, just misleading or factually incorrect information.

For example: Kligerman's NSCS debut was an 18th place finish. But he was also two laps down in that race and he was also the worst finisher of the three cars that were three laps down. No one gets excited if you say, "Kligerman finished two laps down in his de up for Swan Racing!" I mean, his 25th place finish at Homestead was more impressive given it was on the lead lap.

Kligerman got two full time NCWTS seasons and one full-time NXS season. He was not impressive. He was not bad, of course, but he was not remotely close to living up to any of the infamy that he gets on places like /r/nascar. Winning at Talladega in the NCWTS is nothing special.

I mean, John Hunter Nemechek showed more in two partial NCWTS seasons (2014 & 2015), at a younger age, than Kligerman did. Kligerman could probably be a 15th to 30th place NSCS driver but there are tons of those guys. There is nothing to suggest he could be a top NSCS star. It is just internet infamy that goes to great lengths to downplay the opportunities he was given.

Ryan Truex is harder to judge given he has never gotten the opportunities than even Kligerman has gotten. And his limited opportunities include mainly good performances in JGR NXS cars that literally everyone not named Brian Scott was getting top 10s in.
