Hi OP, Many schools offer "free course" materials where you can learn similar things being taught in their classes. I forget the app's name, but if you've got an IOS device try the education app by Apple. As far as getting a degree? I highly doubt you could, I know you could do something similar to get your high school degree…but I am pretty sure with college it wouldn't be possible.
I knew people in similar situation like yourself, and what they opted to do was take their time completing their degrees. For e.g. I finished in 3 years, they took 5. So maybe look into doing an online course? Doing it online will allow you to take it at your own pace. But to get a college degree like a bachelors or associate degree you’ve got to attend an educational institution, unfortunately. Also if you don't mind me asking, what are you looking to study? As someone in the business field, I would say you wouldn't be a strong fit; due to the whole commitment, deadline and stress situation you have. That being said, wherever you're going to work there are going to be deadlines, so you really can't do anything about that but learn to deal with them at a steady pace. What better way to learn about dealing with it by actually going to a school? The only way I see someone hiring you is if you had a lot of experience in a certain field (even without a degree), but the whole commitment, stress and deadline issues wouldn’t keep you employed for very long. If you want to work, you’ve got to address these points. You're going to have to learn to work with people, meet deadlines and deal with stress at any job and field you end up at. Not many companies will hire a person who can't work well with their peers. One of the major things I look at when interviewing people is how well they’ve used team-work in the past. I personally feel that taking the plunge in committing yourself to a college would help you grow as a person. That is if you actually do it physically and not online, as it will enable you do deal with your social aniexties and learn abit about deadlines. All of this really comes down to what you want to do with your life. If you want to work in an office, you’ve got to work on a few things. Committing yourself to do this is the first step though… Let us know how you end up though.
