Good boy

I actually went downstairs to pet my aunts dog for a while (schnauzer) who is tied and alone for houuurs everyday. Long story short, I live with my aunt and grandpa. Our last dog (which was pretty much mine only) escaped and never came back. I was mad for the first few days and didn't wanted any dogs anymore (still don't) then I thought "hey, maybe She will be less bitchy now that there's no dog around" as my aunt got bothered by him over time. Surprise, no less than two weeks later, She got a new puppy and was happy and talking about how cute it was while I was cringing and angry (internally) because 1, You grew resentful of the old dog but now that he's "finally" not around You bring another one?! 2, I felt disgusted because I felt he was "easily replaced" and 3. I didn't want the story to repeat where the dog starts as "ours" then after the novelty and puppy cuteness wears off it ends up as mine because it becomes a living annoyance.

I was right, the dog is now 1 year old and she already hates him. Never taught him anything because she was too busy all the time (job) and now complains he's too overexcited all the time and pees and poos anywhere inside the house (probably he holds it in until he can't anymore before she arrives). She doesn't like to take him out for long, hits him hard and repeatedly when he does something bad (ex. chewing candles, taking of the cushions to get on the coach when nobody is around) and most of the time yells at him and tells him to go to his spot (so basically he remains on the same place alone, unleashed or not). I really don't want to get involved with the dog but I do pet him sometimes and take him out when she's not around but I really really wish He wasn't here and was instead with a person/family that could treat him better, the way he deserves.
