Not OP but: I put a chunk (the size of a... grape?) in the centre of my palm and then lightly mash it until it’s a bit more paste-like. I used to spend forever squishing it around and around to try and get a smooth cream to apply, but now I’ll just soften it up a bit.

Then I smear a chunk onto each section of my face and just smooth it around (still kind of mashing it) with 2-3 fingers. I used to use 1 like how I would apply their masks, but I find you get a much smoother layer using a bigger surface area.

Then sit for 20ish minutes (or more, depends on your skin I guess but I’ve had it on for like 40 before and it didn’t do any harm) and wipe off with a washcloth.
