I completely agree. I get that numbers in our state are trending downwards, which is awesome; however we still have thousands of new cases a day in the state. I could see reopening if vaccines were available. In my county, they have no clue when teachers will be able to get vaccinated (being told months) and the county blames it on the state; which our state is currently among some of the worst as far as vaccine rollout. So, she can't get the vaccine out there, but still wants us in person. Between that and the constant teacher bashing in our state and county, I agree, this job has become a "do it or shut up one". Sorry, I didn't go to school to be treated like a peasant there to appease parents.
