At 60hz?

What makes you believe that his screen runs at 60hz? You realize that this is not an 4K Resolution but Ultra Widescreen and he probably runs an Acer or Asus Screen like the ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q which has 100hz?

In such a case one 1080 GTX isn't enough to run Games like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Watch Dogs 2 or Grand Theft Auto 5 with +60 FPS.

I have that screen right besides me and I had sent my 1080 GTX back to Amazon since it was neither running with 60+ Frames stable on an ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q (1440p) nor ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q (2160p).

I was back then pissed at Nvidia like hell that they charged more then 700€ for a Card that was marked as an 2K ~ 4K Ruler but was already leaking power at 1440p.

Looking back it's now more clear then ever that Nvidia had cashed in with the GTX 1080 and priced it higher then the GTX 980 Ti to make more room for an even bigger increase if it comes to the price tag of the Titan X.

Now that the GTX 1080 Ti is even faster then the Titan X and smoking the GTX 1080/GTX 980 Ti too the only Winner so far that I can see in this race are those that kept their GTX 980 (Ti) or even older since everyone that got meanwhile an GTX 1080 will have now not only an huge value decrease but too an reminder why you never buy those Models without the Ti abbreviation.

I`m not attacking you at all but would like to make sure that you took the time to look into some GTX 1080 Benchmarks since the Card was at no point a Winner in 2K or even 4K.
