H3VR Early Access Weekly Update #7 - New SMGs, Speed Loader, Object Spawner and a New Prototype Scene!

This update is really amazing. The new weapons are fun to use but the standout addition for myself is the new breaching scene. Even though it's really rough it's still incredibly immersive to clear out the building. I really hope you flesh out this idea because (In my opinion.) it's already way more entertaining than the modular range.

However, I have a few questions for you. Will you ever add more traditional locomotion to the game? I know it makes some people sick but I feel like having the ability to toggle it on would greatly increase immersion for people like myself that don't experience VR sickness. The touchpad currently seems to be occupied by other controls but I feel like you could remove those and map them in other ways. Take changing the rate of fire for example, instead of pressing left on the touchpad you could use your off hand to flick the selector switch. You've already added the ability to pull a slide back with your hand so the binding on the touchpad becomes redundant. Maybe you could call this new control method "Advanced" in the options menu?

I also think that adding a randomized breaching mode would be absolutely incredible. Obviously procedurally generated maps would be ideal but I'm sure that would be difficult to achieve. Even just randomizing the enemy and object placement would greatly improve the mode. There is just so much potential here for H3VR to truly ascend to something incredibly special. You could add in hostages, dynamic/moving targets, and actual objectives. I can imagine plywood bombs to defuse, briefcases to collect, and wooden people to save. You've created all of these awesome objects and I feel like this is your chance to create an actual structured game.

How much of your focus do you think will go into this new game mode? It could be so much fun.
