Hi! New here. Back story: July 2012 - I have never had a history of unordinary skin problems. Just your regular "If I don't wash my face often enough, I will have the occasional bleimish". Around this time, I randomly break out in between my eyebrows with what I think to be histamine bumps. I pop them, it spreads over an inch and a half of space, scabs up, and goes away as I hide it under my bangs. Fast forward to October 2014 - Same thing happens on my nose, but worse. Plus I picked at it like an idiot. It begins to go away but comes back with a vengeance. I see a dermatologist apprentice (I think? Not the main physician at the dermatologist office, but I needed to see anyone as quick as possible) and she says she can't be sure because it's scabbed over, but thinks it could be cystic acne, as I'm prone to that. She gives me a sulfur face wash and Aczone to apply once a day, and I follow her skin care regimen pretty well, but felt the skin in that spot never quite went back to normal. I could tell there were still small bumps under the surface of my skin and that area always produced an excess of oil. Current Issue Two days ago - I notice I have a larger bump coming back up. Thinking it was just a pimple, I began to mess with it, but quickly stopped when I realized it was THIS again. I have not picked at it, but the whole top of my nose is swollen and weird puss bump-ridden. It's insanely hard to cover up with make up, and itches. I have been using the Aczone, along with Zinc Oxide to help with the oozing, but I'm not having much luck. I wish I knew of any reoccuring variables, like changes in the climate I'm in, or where I'm at in my cycle (I can say with confidence I am very hormonal at the moment), stress level, etc. I'm trying to get into the doctor asap, but can any of you help in the meantime?! I don't know a single soul who has experienced this.
