What are your feelings about this season 2 after 1 month ?

I like some of the changes that have been made to kick this season off. New map, Ana, coin-flips removed, and so on.

Most, if not all of my games (at ~2500) with my buddy have been pretty messy. No doubt our team always does well, but it seems like the 'toxic' players are REALLY getting bad, if not worse than last season. Example being, while being a Lucio main and all that, I had a guy in voice telling me to swap because we only needed a Mercy.

Comes to this other game my friend and I did last week. He picked Hanzo, and maybe about one minute into the game one of our teammates threw a fit wanting him to swap to 'something that isn't complete shit'. Friend did not swap, despite being gold eliminations and objective time, so this guy complaining purposely went out of his way to throw the game by not only swapping to Symmetra (attack->playload) and ran into the enemy team to give them some ult charging.

But other times we'll get these games where players are really nice. They'll tell us "oh damn, good ult!", not yell at us if we lose a point, etc etc. Those types of matches we all seem to keep our composition and end up winning the match.

So bratty players aside, the only other issue I'm seeing (not just in my own experience, but even some of these comments here) happens to be about rank.

They need to fix the huge disparity in skill level with only few rank points afar. As someone who has gone from 2800 to 3200 to 2800 again, and then to 3200 again, only 400 points in difference (about 8 ranks in the S1 system), shouldn't match me against 80% of the ladder. As a Diamond player, I've faced Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grandmaster, Top 500, all of those in what should be only a small sample of the ranking.

I mean, look at this image: http://i.imgur.com/UzwhMoi.jpg

The match was "even", but should such disparity in ranks be possible?

I definitely prefer the larger rank numbers we can climb (i.e. max of 5000) compared to the old max (50), but climbing the ladder is still... interesting.

TL;DR: With all the leavers, trolls, or obnoxious toxic players I think I'm gonna get myself to 2500-2600 and call it. Then it's just a matter of time to wait for new hero(es), new map(s), and the Halloween event. ¯\(ツ)
