Happens every. fricking. time.

Servers are built to do that, though. Standard PCs (especially their PSUs) are typically not built to the same tolerances or with the same intent in mind. Most servers are built with 23/7 or 24/7 uptime in mind, but PCs aren’t “meant” to be used that way. Again, you can leave it on every day and probably not have trouble. Just like mildly overclocking a PC, you’ll be stressing the components a bit but it’s still likely they’ll be replaced due to being outdated before they fail from being left on or overclocked.

My only intent was to show that it’s technically untrue that leaving it on 24/7 has 0 impact and DEFINITELY untrue that shutdown and startup once a day has a negative impact.
