Hate to say it, but Chuka Umunna got something right. Second referendum campaigners do look like a bunch of people in London who think they know best.

I'm not sure you read my comment, actually. Firstly, as I said I'm not from the UK, and I wasn't speaking about Leave voters specifically. What I was doing is commenting on a similar political tactic used in your country and mine of delegitimizing the voices and votes of urban people. And the reason for doing it. London "elites" are real people too, their opinions are just as valid as everyone else's, even if you don't like them.

Also, frankly, I'm sick and tired of the people nagging "we can't call conservative leaning voters anything less than brilliant, otherwise they'll think we're smug and hate them and they'll never vote for uuuussssssss." Screw that, conservative voters constantly vote against their own self interest, driven by irrational appeals to their pride, lies so paper thin even a minutes thought could see through them, and yes, racism. They will never vote for you because they do not occupy reality, they prefer their delusions of grandeur. Time to accept that.
