So, my heart is still broken over my baby who was put down a few years ago. Old age. He was a rescue. 120lb bully pit. Biggest marshmallow you'd ever meet. Thought he was a lap dog. I'd tell him in the morning go get daddy up and he'd throw himself on my husbands chest and lick his face to wake him up. I have MS, without being trained at a professional center he took on the job of a support animal. Turned on lights. Provided balance. I never registered him. Couldnt afford it tbh. Some of that stuff is ridiculous $. I looked into getting an actual one at one point and just wow. I know they have a bad rep, ive had 2 that were amazing. On that same token ive met one that could not be rehabilitated after someone used it for fighting. It is people that screw them up. And they screw them up because of their traits. The ability to lock their jaws. High pain threshold. IMO ankle biters are evil (although adorable). People just dont look at them the same because they arent big. Its like a mouse vs a bear.
