Help - Stuck in UAE (visa + trade license issues)

Since it’s an LLC, you have a local partner who hold 51% shares in the company. If you’re on good terms with the local, you can have the visa cancellations papers made and go to the immigration department with the local. The immigration officer will then ask the local if the local has any objection against your visa cancellation. The local will say no and sign the NOC letter. This NOC letter has to be made in Arabic from the local to the immigration authorities that he has no objections against you cancelling your visa.

You don’t have to cancel your trade license first. The reason being, cancelling your visa doesn’t absolve you of any liabilities or assets (if present) in the LLC because the MOA takes precedence over your visa.

I’ve done this for a friend whose trade license expired in 2016 but his visa expired in 2018. He even overstayed for 9 months before getting this done. He was also under the impression that he first had to cancel his trade license which is a huge task in itself.
