Hey Reddit, did you ever get suspended or expelled from school? If so, what for?

I got suspended when I was in third grade for lego lightsaber. They taped it to a piece of paper a piece of paper and out it in my file. I always wondered how many knives were in there taped to papers.

Got suspended again in 6th grade for breaking a kids nose. My Uncle was more like my father since my father abandoned us when I was younger. He was a pretty well know person across several towns and had a good relationship with nearly every cop up to several townships over. He died of cancer when I was 11 and it was all over the paper. The funeral line when we were laying him to rest extended for miles. Anyway, one kid in school thought it would be funny to make fun of my uncle and myself the next day. I was obviously a bit messed up still from that, so in a a fit of rage, I put his head into a locker door a couple times.

After that, I changed schools because my mother and I were fighting and went to live with my grandparents. I was put in in school a fair amount for various reasons. I was bullied a lot, so I got into a fair amount of altercations. This school was a bit more lax and needed a bigger escalation for out of school suspension. The last time I was suspended at that school, I punched a kid in the face multiple times for stabbing my hand nearly all the way through with a pencil. Now it's a neat scar because I have two black dots on both sides of my hand.

I changed schools again and now am in 9th grade, back with my mother. Iss is still happening every couple months. Went I go to tenth grade, I get jumped by a couple kids right off of the bus. Not really the best position to be i. Whe. You are Deaf. Since I put up a fight and bloodied two of them up, I was suspended. Only one of the three others was.

This time, I change schools again because the state found my mother to be abusive and unfit. This time I move out of the state. This school was really lax when it came to punishment due to it being a lot more urban than my other schools. I guess when shootings happen in the area frequently and there are a couple stabbings in the building a year, you gain some perspective about zero tolerence. This time I was in 11th grade, got into less fights but still had some. Luckily most were on the field or in the locker room. I and others got away with a lot of stuff at that school.
