Hillary Clinton's hazy claim that researchers can't study marijuana

Cannabis is unique and has been in widespread use for all of modern and ancient history. I can't see voters getting into a frenzy about Prilosec EX or whatever. I don't want it approved, it's already a fact for 20 years. I'm not advocating for anything. I'm not working on this issue. For my purposes, I consider it resolved. My work has made it easier for others in other states to get similar laws and even full legalization, but wait, a fully disabled person like me is obligated to work on other states' legislation twenty years later? You find it "objectionable" that I'm too sick to do anything about a political issue that isn't overwhelmingly important to me just because I use a similar substance? Expanded access would apparently force my doctor to be my dealer, something I expect no legit doctor would want to do. You're a bad person for suggesting this is an acceptable medical solution for patients like me. Last I heard there were like five people federally approved to smoke stale seventies weed. I don't smoke. My doctor is most definitely not going to have an array of products for a single patient or two to choose from. Do you have numbers of people who have actually successfully gotten a vape pen on that program for cannabis? I'll wait.... I already have safe, sane access and a wide array of increasingly tested products thanks to the voters in my state. I suppose I would like to see full legalization if it would clear out the jails, but it's not something I personally have time for. Medical marijuana was first approved during the the height of the HIV era because people were dying and there are no death statistics on the drug despite widespread, common use. The cost-benefit seemed clear to voters like me. If others want other things, they can fight for them -- they will benefit from when I risked arrest in the past. Selfish? My concern is my own health but in working toward what I wanted, lots of other people benefitted. Not enough for you? Go fuck yourself for judging my condition and needs, and insulting the work of sick people who made it possible for someone like you to push for full legalization 20 years later. Fight your own fucking battle. I already fought mine. This post was about research. Not kids with joints in their pocket. The research into that concern is sociological, not medical.
