Oh so i'm solely responsible creating a toxic environment? not the people who are trying to make people bid low and race to the bottom, waste their time discussing things only to go quiet once price is mentioned, putting out crappy deals etc..

That may be all well and good from your perspective but you didn't think to consider that people who are looking for work might want to know what budget a client has before they begin investing time in negotiating work with someone? It's all about you isn't it...

No, obviously not and if i were approaching someone looking to do work i would not have these kinds of conversations with them. I would be courteous, patient and professional with them just like you'd expect.

Luckily i dodged a fucking bullet and found someone who is actually happy to introduce himself before getting straight to talking money.

That's all well and good and most people don't just go straight in for the money, they introduce themselves and provide their hourly so the client has some idea on costs, at which point discussion continues. You didn't dodge a bullet at all, that's just how this works.
