Hockey fan sinks shot for $100k

This almost made me cry. This was really inspiring and got me thinking seriously about life, of how short it is and how we need to be better. It's about getting up and taking steps towards self-improvement. We are often afraid to start new projects (Going to the gym, starting to lift, going to MMA/boxing classes, starting your own company, going to college late in life etc.) due to the fear due to messing up and thus embarrassing ourselves. We constantly view the world from a point of vanity where we worry about what others think of us and how are percieved. And I'm here to remind you that you don't mean shit. You count for nothing. You have 80/90 years on thus planet max, then you will die and the world will move on. Mistakes/failure and the feeling of embarrassment that come with it are all temporary. It doesn't matter that your dream came true if you spent your whole life sleeping. So get out there and go for it, but don't be caught waiting. It's great to plan for your future. Just don't live there, because really nothing ever happens in the future. Whatever happens happens now, so live your life where the action is, here and now. Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, never follow someone else's path unless you're in the woods and you're lost and you see a path then by all means you should follow that. And take action. Every story you've ever connected with, every leader you've ever admired, every puny little thing that you've ever accomplished is the result of taking action. You have a choice. You can either be a passive victim of circumstance or you can be the active hero of your own life. You know what I've learned in life? Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
