Why Hollywood is really freaking out over Trump

I highly value the freedom I have in America to practice my religion as Christ himself advised: to pray in my own home behind closed doors and drawn shutters. Why is it so hard for people on the left to understand that Christians mostly just want to pray and sing and then do stuff for the poor, though of course there are like a million sects in America so you get a whole mix of all types of proselytization which def gets annoying, but you can always just troll them and say you worship Kek or something and a christian pede may leave you in peace to practice your egypto-memery as you see fit. I rather like you Aegypto-philic pedes, am a sort of one m'self in fact.

I think people will start to remember Christianity as an actual spiritual path (I have over past decade and a half) whereas it either got dropped altogether by bad-early-experiences sector, or embraced in a cheesy "rock n roll" church that I personally find very unappealing having grown up in it. Yet, I didn't have to look far to see that there was a lot more going on in the last two thousand years of the Christ cult tha modern American Protestantism and evangelicalism, which is what everyone on the left turns into an absolute devil that votes Trump and hates gays, and a lot of that had to do with Bush's bad example. But I wish people would stfu about their sex lives, for me it's Holy and I keep it betwixt me and my beloved and I wouldn't have it any other way, I just don't really appreciate the impediments to my meditations that are caused by caustic images from our decadent leftist culture here in America floating up into my consciousness while I'm tryin' to get my trance on.

Reading Thomas Merton really blew it all open for me, though he was sorta lefty leaning (how could you not as a monk during Viet Nam? well - remember it was the guy who broke the spell of the patriarchy in a sense by going celibate then going public in a way that was at times at odds with his vows as a Cistercian. Similarly the left likes to forget that it was religious people who were doing some of the most insane protesting during that era with Berrigan and the Catonsville Nine and their other protest actions which were actually pretty creative compared to the current not my president GOOFS. Not defending their purity by any means, but interesting to note that religious people.... often have pretty strong stances on things, heh, maybe cause though it's based on faith just like leftism, the faith is in a Living Reality.

Anyway Merton is amazing and will destroy any concept that religious thought had either died or gotten irreparably decrepit and unreasonable, or had even ever really lost that much ground to the forces of the leftist intellectuals (it just went underground so to speak) in the modern era (lets say 19th c. and on). Let's not forget that even Derrida, a veritable god to the postmodern deconstructionist ideologies, wrote very interesting stuff on religion later on in his life iirc.

So that current of strong Christian writing has always been right there with us, you just have to dig a little for it. Church fathers are great to read. I DO think we are sort of coming out of an era of dominant world christianity (I wager that the secular and religious will and even are unifying and will strengthen the moral courage to keep islam at bay) , though it is by no means going away completely, now is a ripe time to look back and see what we can carry forward with us from the treasures of our past and make sure we don't totally lose the meaning of the important stuff for the generations coming up now... before they are indoctrinated and lose all sense of reality to moral relativism - exactly what happened to the left. How the left keeps going with assumed moral high ground after what happened in Chicago is a place I'd rather not go in my thoughts.

They will not prevail of course. The younger generations will find them increasingly annoying, and will look elsewhere for answers. I do suggest looking to religion and philosophy, in other words READING. A huge part of this fight is already and will continue to be the quality with which we can organize our thoughts and express our values so that America will indeed be Great Again. Religion helps with that because it can awaken those who wish to listen for it, an inner sense of duty, responsibility, and freedom that the left does NOT have, and which alone can guide free individuals to administer their own lives. The state is a servant, it cannot guide unless it be directed by its masters, the citizens, fellow man cannot really guide man completely, though he point the way. Every individual must take responsibility for his actions and find freedom, if he is to find it at all, arising from that which he is inherently, his body mind and spirit or whatever you want to call it: His and her own life, given to him and her by God as a gift and an opportunity. MAGA and May God be praised for not withholding grace from our great country in these historic times.
