The dumb fuckers pop up in groups, every now and then. First there was some group trying to start up a colony in Idaho, then that one guy who tried to buy a little town in North Dakota. Whenever "Charlottesville" comes up in the news, it will be hard to think of anything else for a while longer.
I lived in Skokie for several years. As a Jew and grandson of a Holocaust survivor, I went to the museum on opening day in 2009 - at a fairly long red light, I had the chance to see a sizable demonstration and one of them perform the salute just as the light turned green. Police were protecting them. Now, there was something I'll never forget.
A combination of this year shaping up to be good for Dems & this GOP guy having 0 chance of winning whatsoever, makes it a good time to primary Lipinski. He is a right-winger with a D next to his name: supports all sorts of shite like unmitigated NSA spying, funding endless wars, corporate money in politics, etc etc. Apparently, a constituent of his made a funny little video about him a long while back.
He has a great primary opponent. Sadly, as the candidate with the most money often wins, she's unlikely to upset him. sigh
