We have had a home warranty since we purchased our house 17 years ago. The warranty came with the house and we used it so much the first year we just kept on renewing it. Over the years for each individual warranty call we paid $70 on top of $50 per month.

We have had our boiler replaced, our entire air conditioning system replaced, water heater replaced, new dishwasher, professional stove fixed twice, leaky water main valve replaced, leaking pipe fixed on Easter Sunday afternoon, new refrigerator, both our washing machine and dryer repaired, new garage door opener, and a plumbing problem under the kitchen sink fixed.

As long as we keep using it, we will definitely keep paying for our home warranty because they have covered a lot of expensive things.
