As a similarly aged individual who was equally disgusted by the election outcome despite the Herculean effort imposed, there hasn’t been a single moment since then that I have actually carried any feeling of hope or patriotism for my country.

Our entire lives we have seen nothing but proxy wars and the repeated chipping away at opportunities that were easily attainable by previous generations and sold to us as the American dream and our “destiny”. But the older you get, the more you realize it’s all just a big lie the media perpetuates despite the fact that everyone knows it‘s not true anymore. And yet we all collectively zombie along in ignorance naively hoping that things will change as they progressively get worse and worse.

It’s a big club, and we ain’t in it. Stay strong, homie.
