Aussies of Reddit, what's your best drop-bear story?

My point is mate, that Drop Bears aren't real. I made my first comment, because people need to understand that this is a beautiful country, and not as dangerous as you kids on the internet are making it out to be.

There's brown snakes on the property here.... so what, they share the land. They have the bush's - that's their turf. It's the public-hero-snake-catchers that get bitten. Most of the time it's people's pet cats.

I surf at beaches with known blue-ringed octopus' - so what. I don't go poking at their rocks (homes). They are amazing to observe - but who would walk barefoot on known hot-spots...

Same as the shark attacks - they are infrequent incidents, at known locations - WHY surf there - it's THEIR turf.

There's a white-tip spider just meters from me - right now - chillin in it's corner, catching the wine flies from the eco-toilet - thanks spider friend.

Same as the shed, the red-back spiders keep other pest insects down in there.

The biggest worry a tourist would have, would be driving too fast - ignoring the signs - and killing a poor roo - or even worse = Killing a mother & it's joey in the pouch. And heaven forbid, even worse - not stop their vehicle and check for the said joey in the pouch.

My final point, come - enjoy this beautiful sun-burned country and don't worry about the fucking drop-bear nonsense.

And for you in particular Flarpy.

Abbot is fine. He'll get kicked out, then you can bitch about the next leader.... (and so on.........)

NOW>>>>>>>..... OUR country?! OUR????? What would you know about politics, or human rights......Who the fuck are you.... get the fuck out of my face.
