How?

I landed an HR role solely based on the fact that I am a hard worker and HR director told me that all these highly decorated HR people that previously worked under her never want to do the “work” they didn’t want to payroll, hands grievances or any of the “dirty” work, you have to do the work, start off as an assistant and work your way up. It’s a tough market to get in but if you have great interpersonal skills and do the hard work you will see the fruit of your labor. I wish you success in finding a great career within HR, but please don’t get upset that honest people can land a role in HR. The directors at my job don’t have degrees just many years of experience, don’t be afraid to start small and work your way up, HR roles don’t require expertise but courage to do the little things! And disclaimer please don’t take this as a jab but as a way to give some helpful advice that got me far :)
