I know this guy from my time posting on the CT subreddit, and you’re exactly right.

He moved from a town that’s less diverse than the state as a whole to one of the most diverse cities in TX.

There are elements of truth to his post, CT is pretty badly segregated and NIMBYism absolutely exists. But he also lived right next to a city that is about as non-white as Houston (New Haven), so the idea that he never saw non-white people around is just not credible.

The bottom line is he hates liberals and democrats, hates CT’s politics and hated that people on our subreddit talked about social justice issues, so he made his post to the TX subreddit as a way to air grievances.
