Thanks for the response. Yeah I tolerated so much unbelievable bullshit towards me from the senior pastor and his mafia of deacons and rich members. But once they started coming after my kids the gloves came off. Our parenting was probably not what people would've expected from a pastor's family. After our kids turned 16 if they didn't want to go to church we didn't make them. We wanted them to be there because they wanted to and enjoyed it. Truth be told they hated it because the deacons and powerful people in the church had made life hell for us for years. So when they stopped attending things got nasty and uncivil. It took me four years to rebuild a career but leaving the ministry was so worth it. Thanks again, all the best to you.
