How can I connect my Roku to campus wifi?

Smart TVs, Game Consoles or Other Devices

Most smart TVs, game consoles, media streaming players, smart assistants and other devices do not support the wireless security protocol used to connect to FSUSecure and will not be able to sign in. You are welcome to connect to FSUSecure if your device supports the “WPA2 Enterprise” protocol (check your device user guide or manufacturer), but the best way to ensure your device has Internet access is to use the wired network if it has an Ethernet port.

Connecting a device without a wired Ethernet port

Some TVs, media streaming players (e.g., Chromecast, Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, etc.), and smart assistants (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Home, etc.) may not come with a wired Ethernet port. In order to access the Internet on this type of device, find its wireless MAC address and register it at https://resreg.its.fsu.edu/. Once registered, the device will be able to connect to the FSUGuest wireless network. Consult the device's user guide or manufacturer for information on how to find its wireless MAC address.

Device registrations are valid until the end of each summer semester. Registrations will be deleted between the summer and fall semesters and must be renewed every year.
