The Weekly Rundown for May 25, 2020

Goal: To break my old PR's

Mileage: 28 miles

Monday: 5 miles @ 9:18 pace, moderate effort, rained the whole run

Tuesday: 5 miles @ 10:56 pace, recovery run, was hot and I ate too much beforehand

Wednesday: Rest

Thursday: 6 miles @ 9:30 pace, felt hard, probably not enough sleep and forgot to take iron supplement

Friday: 6 miles @ 9:59 pace, moderate effort, felt dehydrated and fatigued

Saturday: Rest

Sunday: 6 miles @ 9:43 pace, felt really good! Supposed to be an easy run but then a Strava segment tempted me

Thoughts: Last week was not great. It's been kinda warm lately so I have to try to hydrate more and get up earlier for my runs. Also need to get more rest and remember to take any supplements. Resting HR has been high this week so I am taking the day off today. Hopefully this week will be much better.
