I work at a dispensary that sells LP weed - I sample a fair bit, but still buy anything over an 8th through MoMs.

Overall it's much more economical to purchase through MoMs and the quality is usually much better. That being said, if you're in a pinch, there are a couple LP's which are producing decent quality, decent priced bud.

Redecan makes good bang-for-your-buck weed, and I also like their Redee prerolls. Dealer's Pick (good supply/aphria), Daily Special and Kingsway (Aurora), and Indica/Sativa Blend (Pure Sunfarms) are all acceptable quality and can usually be had for $4-5/gram.

Simply Bare makes really nice Blue Dream and Robert's Creek Congo and can be found for $45/eighth.

Qwest and Whistler can fuck right off with their $70+ 8ths, it's a good smoke but fuck them for setting a precedent of $20+ grams. Whistler also has grams of live rosin for $150(!!!!!) and it really isn't anything special.
