Sure, and if the opposing candidate wasn’t rich and powerful I’d agree with this being worthwhile. It’s not. It sets up for a long, messy mud-slinging presidential campaign. Instead of building a party platform on issues that benefit the common people, or tempering the flames to entice his voters to a moderate-moving party, Dems are creating an even more toxic situation than the 2020 election. This does nothing to solve who can run, how campaigns are funded, why the average citizen is only several paychecks from poverty, the quality of our food, air or water…. the list goes on and on. The well is beyond poisoned. Neither side trusts our media or justice system anymore. This isn’t some heroic case that will change that. We can say it “proves no one is above the law,” but that doesn’t mean shit if rich Democrats and the corporations who run our country still remain above it.
