How do you feel about “Canceling Student Debt”?

I think it's a good idea in general in the US. I want to live in an educated society and I'm willing to pay for that and for others to get their education. I had to drop out of college for mostly financial reasons and ended up getting a high-paying job anyway. But I know that's not how it goes for most people who were in my position.

I would like to see people who were taken advantage of by for-profit colleges get priority. Then the government should sue those companies into oblivion.

Also, there are many issues with our education system. If we're going to forgive debt (and provide taxpayer paid college education), we need to make sure corporations and corrupt administrations don't take advantage. The last thing we need is $10,000 text books paid for by taxes.
